Värska Spa Hotel’s baths brim with pure mineral water – the famous Värska mineral water. The minerals provide all of the benefits of the millions of years they have spent in the water table: immersing yourself in the water and being gently massaged by its air bubbles and the bath’s water jets is pure luxury.
The Värska Spa Hotel is located in the culturally unique region of Setomaa in Southern Estonia. It is surrounded by centuries of folk culture – songs, traditional designs and heritage. It is hard to think anything but good thoughts while you are there.
The hotel is in a pristine natural setting of pine forests which are an ideal place for a relaxing stroll or, in winter, skiing. There is plenty of time to unwind as you forget your everyday concerns in the peaceful atmosphere. No holiday can be as truly invigorating as one taken at the very source of life.
Värska Spa Hotel offers accommodation for up to 222 people.
There are 127 rooms: 72 twin/doubles, 43 singles, two apartments (with separate living room and bedroom), four family rooms, two with saunas, three with Jacuzzis and the Tsootska suite. All rooms are en suite (with a toilet and shower) and come with a television and radio. Lovely views over Lake Lämmijärv open up from the balconies.
Värska Spa Hotel is unique in Estonia for the therapy it offers: only natural products are used in procedures, from the therapeutic mud obtained from the fresh waters of Lake Lämmijärv to the renowned Värska mineral water drawn from deep within the earth.
The spa provides professional resort therapy for movement problems (trauma, peripheral or centralised paralysis); functional problems (headache, sleeplessness and asthma); peripheral nervous system infections and pain syndromes; metabolism-related joint deformations; bone, muscle and joint infections; psoriasis; bronchitis; and infections of the stomach, duodenum and bile duct. The spa has also successfully treated children’s respiratory problems and provides alleviation for congenital brain injuries and movement problems.
The spa offers extensive breakfast and dinner buffets. Lunch is provided as a table service.
The Näki café and water bar in the Veeparadiis water park offer a variety of drinks and snacks as well as full meals.
The water park and saunas are the perfect place to relax and unwind. Guests at the spa can take part in recreational evenings, excursions and a range of other events. There are performances every week, including those by local Seto folk choirs and dance troupes which are designed to showcase the local culture. During summer guests can make the most of the beach weather, go canoeing or sailing and have fun on aqua bikes. There are also marked areas for ball games, a camp site and barbecue areas. Guests can also use the spa’s sauna, solarium, pool and library and enjoy games including billiards and table tennis. Other services include a hairdresser, beautician, manicurist and pedicurist.
