Aqva Hotel & Spa

The Aqva Spa is situated at the foot of the historical Vallimägi Hill in the Old Town of Rakvere, a short stroll from Rakvere Theatre, the central square and the town’s medieval castle. The untouched natural environment of Lahemaa National Park and its superb manor houses and sandy beaches are located within 40 km radius. Accommodation

The hotel has 75 rooms with all of the mod cons, including 4 tworoom suites with Jacuzzis, 2 family suites, 69 twin/double standard rooms (including 2 for guests with special needs), 6 interconnecting family rooms and 6 rooms for guests with allergies. We can accommodate up to 208 people using extra beds. All rooms are en suite (with a toilet and shower) and come with a television, minibar, air conditioning, Internet, safe, telephone, hairdryer and bathrobes.

Wellness

Our wellness services are divided between our active and private spa zones. The active spa zone includes our water park, sauna center, sports pool and gym. The private spa zone includes our Emeraude spa, Alessandro spa and Lanza hair studio.

In Emeraude Spa our nineteen treatment rooms offer luxurious face, body and bath treatments using the Phytoceane range of products; treatments on our glorious warm stone board; Thermo Spa treatments on our relaxing water bed; and Rasulbad mud treatments. In our Sabbia-Med sun and sand room you can enjoy summer warmth and sunbathing all year round. In addition to classic massage, we also offer Swedish and lava stone massages and eastern-style foot, Tai and Shanghai massages.

Alessandro Spa offers high-quality nail, hand and foot treatments, with every nail treated individually in just the right way. All treatments are carried out using high-quality, professional Alessandro materials.

At the Lanza hair studio you can sit back and relax as your hair is cut, styled or dyed, and you can also enjoy hair treatment – our ‘hair spa’.

Our water park boasts 6 pools – a wave pool; a pool with underwater massage jets; an outdoor pool; 32 cm and 90 cm deep children’s pools; and a 25-metre, 6-lane sports pool. There is also a 65-metre long waterslide, the Black Hole, which has special lighting effects; an upstream wading pool; waterfalls; rain machines; and an outdoor terrace. Water aerobics classes and swimming lessons for babies are also held at the water park. In total, the water park offers 750 m² of sparkling water.

Our sauna centre has 8 different saunas – a sanarium; an aromatic vapour sauna (85° C) and second vapour sauna (100° C); a caldarium; an infrared sauna; a salt sauna; an aromatic steam sauna; and a salt and steam sauna. The sauna centre also has a cold-water plunge pool (8° C), hot and cold water foot baths, power showers, 2 foot baths and a terrace.

Meals

The spa hotel’s 120-seat à la carte restaurant, Mezzo, offers a carefully selected menu which is sure to please all of your sense. The Arabella café has a varied menu, with something for young and old alike. You can choose from pizzas, sweet and savoury pancakes, soups, salads and a grill menu. During summer you can enjoy your meals on the terrace.

• We can organise excursions to see the sights of Lääne-Viru County.
• Transfers are available from Tallinn to Rakvere and back.
